With locations in Osceola, Chariton, and Ottumwa, we have deep roots in the communities we serve and a commitment to providing exceptional vision care and comprehensive eye health services.
For more than 30 years, we have built practices centered around our patients, our communities, and our team. We believe great patient care starts with great people, which is why we invest heavily in ongoing education, training, and professional development.
A Team Designed to Support You
Our doctors are supported by an experienced, highly trained team. Our Optometric Technicians are trained and certified at each location and are dedicated to providing excellent patient care while allowing our doctors to focus on what they do best—being clinicians.
Our optical team brings nearly 100 years of combined experience, and our management team works behind the scenes to keep our offices running efficiently and our doctors supported.
Technology That Enhances Patient Care
We believe in giving our doctors the tools they need to provide the highest level of care. Each of our locations is equipped with advanced diagnostic technology, including:
- Optos
- OCT
- Visual Field testing
- Automated refracting systems
- And other advanced diagnostic equipment
We continually evaluate and add technology that improves patient outcomes and allows our doctors to pursue areas of clinical interest.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for a compassionate, confident, and team-oriented optometrist who is committed to providing exceptional patient care and building lasting relationships with patients.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A patient-centered approach to eye care
- The ability to work effectively with technicians, opticians, and other team members
- A willingness to learn, grow, and stay current with advances in optometry
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Professionalism, reliability, and a positive attitude
- The ability to confidently educate patients about their eye health and treatment options
- A desire to contribute to a positive, collaborative practice culture
Most importantly, we are looking for someone who cares about their patients, enjoys working with people, and wants to be part of a team. We are willing to invest in the right person and help them continue to develop professionally.
A Practice With a Strong Patient Base
Our patients are the heart of our practices. Their loyalty and trust have allowed us to grow for more than three decades, and our continued growth has created an exciting opportunity to welcome another optometrist to our team.
We are looking for a quality clinician who values patient relationships, comprehensive eye care, teamwork, and continued professional growth.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package that includes:
- Competitive salary and bonus opportunities
- Paid vacation
- Retirement plan
- Professional membership fees
- State license fees
- Continuing education benefits
- A supportive, experienced team
- Opportunities for professional growth and leadership
- Potential partnership opportunity within 3–5 years
Both new graduates and experienced optometrists are encouraged to apply. We are happy to discuss how we can structure the position to fit the right candidate's experience, interests, and long-term goals.
If you are looking for a practice where you can build lasting patient relationships, work alongside an experienced team, continue growing as a clinician, and potentially become an owner, we would love to hear from you.
