Description

InVision Family Eye Care is a doctor-owned, full-scope private practice in Rolla, Missouri. We're hiring an associate optometrist, and Dr. Amanda Bahr is running the search herself.
THE SCHEDULE
The schedule is flexible. We'd love someone three to four days a week, but if you only want one or two days, let's talk. Five days isn't expected. We're closed weekends and Friday afternoons, and there's no call.
PAY
Pay is an hourly rate plus a quarterly bonus on your collections. Our percentage sits in the industry-standard 15–18% range, and Dr. Bahr is happy to go over the exact numbers on the phone.
Full-time equivalent works out to roughly $140,000–$250,000, depending on how much you want to work. We keep our fee schedule current, so you're earning on today's pricing.
BENEFITS
- W-2 employment
- Paid time off, with flexibility
- Simple IRA with a 3% match
- Vision coverage
- About eight paid holidays, usually two days at Thanksgiving and an extended Christmas
- Allowances for CE, licensure, AOA and MOA dues, and malpractice
- Profit sharing for doctors who stay long-term
WHAT YOU'LL PRACTICE
We're full scope. Dry eye is a big part of what we do, including dropless treatment, plus myopia control, ocular disease diagnosis and management, specialty and hard-to-fit contact lenses, and surgical co-management. Comprehensive exams for all ages. We have an Optos and a great staff.
WHERE YOU'LL LIVE
Rolla is a college town and feels like the suburbs of the Ozarks, with plenty of rivers and lakes close by, including Lake of the Ozarks and Table Rock. You get a real town, with a university, good schools and a hospital, and St. Louis is about 100 miles east when you want a city. The cost of living tends to surprise people.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Doctor of Optometry from an accredited school, with Missouri licensure or eligibility. New graduates and experienced doctors are equally welcome.
HOW TO APPLY
Email Dr. Bahr directly at DrBahr@invisionrolla.com, or call the office at 573-364-6300 and ask for her. There's no portal and no hiring manager. You'll hear back from Dr. Bahr herself. The start date is flexible for the right doctor.
