AVAILABLE WEEKDAYS: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday; individual
dates, recurring weekdays, full days and half-days welcome. Thursday
and Saturday are already allocated, and Sunday is not approved.

COMPENSATION: $550 guaranteed per six-clinical-hour full day PLUS $15
per completed patient above 16. Three-clinical-hour half-day
compensation is agreed separately before booking; the $550 full-day
guarantee does not apply to half-days.

DESCRIPTION:
StarVision Optometry PLLC, an independent, doctor-owned medical
optometry practice in Pensacola, Florida, is seeking one or more
Florida-licensed optometrists to provide flexible medical-leave
coverage beginning in January 2027. We welcome doctors who can cover
just one recurring weekday, alternating weeks, selected individual
dates, or full or half days. No doctor needs to cover the entire leave
period, and all actual shifts will be mutually agreed before booking.

A usual full day is 10:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Central, with six clinical
hours (10:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. and 2:00–5:00 p.m.) and a one-hour lunch.
Full-day pay is $550 guaranteed, regardless of whether the schedule
fills, plus $15 for every completed patient above 16. Illustrations:
16 completed patients = $550; 20 = $610; 24 = $670. Half-day rates
will be negotiated separately before any half-day shift is agreed.

The practice provides comprehensive eye examinations, contact-lens
care, and medical optometry. Equipment includes OCT, retinal imaging
and visual-field testing, with EyeCloud Pro electronic records. The
optical retail operation is separately handled by Visionworks.
Applicants must hold an active Florida optometry license;
appropriately licensed recent graduates are welcome. Technician
availability, orientation and operational details will be discussed
before any shift is agreed. The posting does not promise patient
volume, technician coverage, benefits, travel or lodging
reimbursement, or other support.

For a doctor who enjoys the practice and is a strong mutual fit, there
may be an opportunity to continue part-time or expand toward full-time
work as patient demand and scheduling needs allow. Doctors seeking
only temporary/PRN coverage are equally welcome.
