Come Join Our Team!

The Eye Center—Optometrist Opportunity

The Eye Center is a leading provider of comprehensive eye care with two advanced locations serving Central and Western Massachusetts. We seek a motivated Optometrist to join our multidisciplinary team and contribute to superior patient outcomes through evidence-based care and innovative technology.

Our collaborative team includes experienced surgeons and optometric professionals offering a wide range of services: premium refractive cataract surgery with lifestyle lens options, dry eye disease management, glaucoma care, primary eye care, and medical facial aesthetics. This integrated model ensures patients receive coordinated, patient-centered care tailored to their clinical and lifestyle needs.

Our Dry Eye Specialty Center of Excellence is equipped with modern diagnostic instrumentation to accurately characterize complex dry eye etiologies. We provide individualized therapeutic plans incorporating medical management and procedural options to optimize comfort and ocular surface health. In addition, our Medical Aesthetics unit delivers minimally invasive skin revitalization treatments around the periorbital region, addressing both functional and cosmetic concerns.

The practice offers strong clinical support and an experienced administrative staff focused on enabling clinician success. Responsibilities for the Optometrist role include comprehensive primary eye care, advanced dry eye evaluations and procedures, and glaucoma co-management. You will participate in surgical pre- and post-operative care and collaborate with colleagues across specialties to manage diverse ocular pathologies.

We foster a collegial environment that supports professional development, mentored growth, and the establishment of a sustainable patient panel. The position is well suited to experienced providers seeking expanded clinical scope as well as recent graduates who desire structured mentorship, hands-on training with advanced diagnostic and therapeutic tools, and exposure to a high-volume, specialty-integrated practice.

The compensation package is competitive and includes a base salary with production-based incentives, comprehensive benefits, continuing education allowance, and malpractice coverage. We are committed to excellence, compassionate patient care, and ongoing innovation in clinical practice.

To explore this opportunity, please contact Tracy Kenniff, MBA, OCS, Practice Administrator, at tkenniff@plan-eye.com. We welcome inquiries from residency programs, university career centers, and prospective applicants interested in a welcoming, development-focused clinical environment.
